Women
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another…”
Heb. 10:24-25 (NIV)
The following small group fellowship and service opportunities exist for women of all ages:
- Ladies on a Mission – This service group meets the second Monday of each month (the first Monday in January) to pray for missionaries and their various praises/needs in small groups. The ladies also work on several projects and crafts for missionaries, gather items for the missionary cupboard, and put together care packages for college students. Twice a year this group attends the Canton Area Women’s Fellowship and state missionary meetings.
- Ladies’ Bible Study – Ladies meet 9:30 – 11 a.m. on Fridays to study God’s Word in a small group setting, where they work through various books of the Bible and topical studies together. Past topics include “Loving God with all Your Mind," “Seeking Him,” and "Lies Women Belive." Upcoming topics include the book of James.
- Crop and Craft Night – This monthly meeting is a time of fellowship for women crafters. Ladies gather for a short devotion and fellowship, where they also work on their own hobbies and projects, including crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, and much more.
- Women’s Retreats – These gatherings provide opportunities for fellowship with women from other area churches and occur throughout the year.
- Mother/Daughter/Friend Luncheon – This popular annual banquet is planned around Mothers Day as an opportunity to honor mothers and reach out to others.
- LAFF Luncheon — Our retires or those who come close to the stage of "Life After Fifty-Five" gather monthly to fellowship over lunch, which is typically held the second Tuesday.
- CAWMF - The ladies of Grace particpate in the Canton Area Women's Missionary Fellowship. This group meets several times a year to help missionaries.
